Our Story
In Fall 2009, eight lovely Ladies: Christine Fung, Ashley Huynh, Casey Lu, Christine Luong, Katrina Nguyen, Mandy Nguyen, Sophia Nguyen, and Miranda Taing, came together under the common aspiration of creating a sisterhood unparalleled by any sorority on campus. In hopes of bringing something new, this diverse group of girls set out to establish Lambda Delta Psi at Texas A&M (TAMU). Similar to their mother chapter, these girls formed under a student organization named Redefined Elegant Asian Ladies (R.E.A.L.). Despite many hardships and resistance, these lovely eight successfully established Lambda Delta Psi at Texas A&M in Spring 2010.
Our Purpose
The official purpose of Lambda Delta Psi is to cultivate a sisterhood of distinguished women through friendship and service while maintaining high moral and academic standards. We seek to always exemplify characteristics such as temperance, grace, and integrity and to educate and guide other young women in becoming eloquent ladies of society.
